The income at Shanghai Port is the lowest among its peers, and the work is the hardest. When I entered the company, the income of a two-year apprentice was 2,000 RMB. After working on my own, the D grade was 10,000, the C grade was 12,000, the B grade was 14,000, and the A grade was 17,000. This income is very low, because you work for 365 days, basically taking one break, which is equal to yours. After working for three years, I did the job that others worked the day shift for four years. Life is very stressful. When driving a boat, I am afraid that something will happen to the boat. When I climb a ladder, I am afraid that something will happen to me. It's the scariest when the wind and waves are big. And as soon as you go to sea, you have to get education, that is, you are laid off, and your salary is gone. You have to stop for at least 3 months and 2 years. In fact, I personally think that pilot stations in other places are better than Shanghai, especially small ports, with an income of 15,000 , but there is little work, few ships, people are relaxed, and the Yangtze River pilot station is also very busy, but their income is basically double that of Shanghai Port, about 30,000 a month. Now the best in the country are Qingdao Port and Shenzhen Port, with annual incomes between 600,000 and 700,000. Shanghai Port only has 150,000-300,000. The Yangtze River is between 250,000 and 500,000.

In foreign countries, pilots are definitely high-income people, but with the rapid improvement of housing prices in Shanghai, crew wages have also increased significantly in recent years. The captain's salary is now at least 30,000-50,000, so the advantages of Shanghai Port pilots Not a bit left. I don’t like the Shanghai Port Pilot Station.
