How to determine the output of solid waste in construction stage?

Estimation method of solid waste discharge during construction period

1 method 1

The solid wastes during the construction period are mainly domestic garbage, construction garbage and decoration garbage of construction workers, such as stones, concrete blocks, bricks, stones, stone chips, yellow sand, lime and waste wood.

The building decoration garbage generated in the construction process is calculated as 2t per 100m2 construction area.

In addition, the amount of domestic waste generated by construction workers is 1kg per person per day.

2 Method 2?

Solid waste

The solid waste generated during the construction period mainly includes the construction waste generated during the construction and the domestic waste generated by the construction personnel.

1) Construction waste output during the construction period

The construction area development prediction is adopted, and the prediction model is:

Js=Qs×Cs

In which: js- annual output of construction waste (ton/year),

QS-annual building area (square meters),

CS refers to the average annual garbage output per square meter of construction area (ton/year ㎡).

As the amount of solid waste generated in the construction process is related to the construction level, building type and other factors, this project is an industrial city with concentrated construction projects and many construction areas, which makes some processes have to be repeated and will increase the amount of construction waste. This report estimates that the construction waste is 0.5 ~1.0 ㎏/(m2 year), and the results are shown in Table 2-8.

2) The amount of domestic garbage generated during the construction period.

Adopt the method of population development forecast. The prediction model is:

Ws =Ps×Cs

Where: ws-domestic waste output (ton/day),

PS —— Number of constructors per year (person),

Cs— Annual per capita domestic waste output (ton/day? People).

According to the construction situation of similar projects, the number of construction workers required during the construction period of this project is calculated as 150, and the per capita garbage output is calculated as 1.0kg/ day. See Table 2-8 for the forecast of domestic garbage output during the construction period of this project.

3 Method 3

Types and components of construction waste

Construction waste mainly includes: construction waste generated by demolition of old buildings in the process of old city reconstruction; Construction waste generated in the process of building construction. Table 1 lists the proportion of construction waste in different structural forms and the amount of waste generated per unit construction area.

1) Construction waste generated per unit construction area.

As can be seen from the table 1, the components of construction waste are: soil, dregs, waste steel bars, scrap iron wires and various waste fittings, waste metal pipes, waste bamboo and wood, sawdust, shavings, packing boxes of various decorative materials, scattered mortar and concrete, broken bricks and concrete blocks, yellow sand, stones scattered during handling, etc. These materials account for about 80% of the total construction waste. For different construction sites, the proportion of garbage composition is slightly different. However, due to different construction management conditions, the amount of garbage varies greatly from place to place.
