There are two kinds of concrete mixing: manual mixing and mechanical mixing.

Manual stirring

When stirring, try to be flexible. Starting from adding water, the stirring time should generally meet the following requirements:

When the volume of the mixture is less than 30 liters, 4-5 minutes.

5-9 minutes when the volume of the mixture is 30L-50L.

When the volume of the mixture is 5 1L-75L, it takes 9~ 12min.

After mixing, according to the test requirements, immediately do slump determination or specimen molding. All operations must be completed within 30 minutes after the start of water addition.

Mechanical stirring

Pre-mixing once, that is, flushing the cavity first, so as not to affect the mixing ratio during formal mixing. Start the mixer, add stones, sand and cement into the mixer in turn, dry mix evenly, and then slowly add water, and all the feeding time should not exceed 2 minutes. After all the water was added, stirring was continued for 2 minutes.
