Tianjin Binhai Airport

Tianjin Binhai International Airport is located in Dongli District, Tianjin, China, with a distance of 13km from the city center. It is a 4E-class civil international airport, China International Aviation Logistics Center, an international scheduled flight airport, a national first-class airport open to the outside world, and one of the major air cargo centers in China.

Tianjin Binhai International Airport has two terminals, T 1 (international and regional) and T2 (domestic), with a total construction area of 364,000 square meters and a warehouse area of 74,000 square meters. 2 runways, with lengths of 3,600 meters and 3,200 meters respectively; By the end of 20 18, the airport had opened 59 +06 routes, including 168 domestic routes and 49 international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan routes. Tianjin Binhai International Airport, formerly known as Tianjin Zhang Gui Zhuang Airport, was founded in June1939+065438+1October.

1995 June 5438+ 10, Tianjin Zhang Gui Zhuang Airport was approved by the State Council as an international scheduled flight airport, and was renamed as "Tianjin Binhai International Airport" with the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China in February of the same year.

On August 8, 2005, the new airport terminal (T 1) started construction.

At 0: 00 on April 28th, 2008, the new terminal building of Tianjin Airport (1 Terminal Building) was officially opened, replacing the old terminal building.

On March 2011May 3 1, the second phase expansion project of the airport officially started. The main construction contents include: T2 terminal building with a scale of about 220,000 square meters and annual passenger throughput of150,000 passengers, 250,000 square meters of platforms and taxiways, and ancillary facilities such as fire fighting and lighting.

On August 28th, 20 14, Terminal t 2 of the second phase expansion project of the airport and related projects were put into operation simultaneously with the airport extension line of Tianjin Metro Line 2.
