Tianjin Binhai International Airport is located in Dongli District, Tianjin, China, with a distance of 13km from the city center. Tianjin Binhai International Airport, formerly known as Tianjin Zhang Gui Zhuang Airport, was founded in June1939+065438+1October.

1995 June 5438+ 10, Tianjin Zhang Gui Zhuang Airport was approved by the State Council as an international scheduled flight airport, and was renamed as "Tianjin Binhai International Airport" with the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China in February of the same year.

On August 8, 2005, the new airport terminal (T 1) started construction.

At 0: 00 on April 28th, 2008, the new terminal building of Tianjin Airport (1 Terminal Building) was officially opened, replacing the old terminal building.
