Huayang Jin Meng Power Plant

The 2× 600WM project of the first phase of Huayang Jin Meng Power Plant was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on March 4, 2008, which marked the comprehensive completion of the preliminary work of Huayang Jin Meng Power Plant.

Huayang Jin Meng Power Plant began planning and preparation in September 2003. The state, province, municipal government and relevant departments attach great importance to this work. Through the unremitting efforts of the power plant preparation organization, we have successively completed various preparations such as special reports on water resources, environmental assessment, transmission planning, internet access, special railway lines, land pre-examination, safety evaluation, cultural relics protection, planning and site selection, seismic geology, project feasibility study, application report and high-end evaluation. After more than four years of hard work, it finally got the official approval of the state. The project has a dynamic investment of 1 100 million yuan, an annual power generation of 6.6 billion kwh, an annual sales income of 2.3 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 500 million yuan. After completion, it will have a great influence and function on promoting the sound and rapid development of county economy.
