Hong Kong and China Gas Group is a public utility enterprise operated by Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (China Gas) in the Mainland. The business covers urban gas, urban water supply, garbage disposal, smart energy, and extended services such as household products and high-end cabinets.

The Hong Kong and China Gas Company started to invest in gas projects in the Mainland on 1994. In 2005, Hua Gang Gas launched the gas appliance product brand "Hua Gang Bauhinia" in the mainland market. Due to excellent quality and excellent service, the sales volume of gas appliance products of Hong Kong-China Bauhinia Series has been rising continuously, and the cumulative sales volume has exceeded 7.5 million units so far. In the same year, Hong Kong and China Gas opened up the mainland water market, and successively invested in nine urban water projects and five kitchen and green waste treatment projects in Jiangsu, Anhui and Guangdong. Up to now, Huayan Water has served more than 2.6 million customers and the length of the pipe network has exceeded10.5 million kilometers, providing high-quality domestic and industrial and commercial water for the booming urban economy in the Mainland.

In order to further expand the new application of gas and improve energy efficiency, the Group established Huagang Energy Investment Co., Ltd. on 20 17, focusing on the development and investment of distributed energy and central heating projects, and committed to providing efficient energy for customers such as industrial parks, commercial complexes and data centers.
