Brief Introduction to the Department of New Energy Science and Engineering College of Xinyu University

The School of New Energy Science and Engineering of Xinyu University, formerly known as the Department of Solar Energy Science and Engineering, was founded in 2007, and took the lead in opening the first photovoltaic specialty in China-photovoltaic material processing and application technology specialty; In 2008, the second photovoltaic specialty in China-photovoltaic power generation technology and application specialty was opened. Photovoltaic talent training covers the upstream, middle and downstream of photovoltaic industry. There are 45 full-time teachers in our department, including 6 professors, associate professors 10 and doctors 10. There are 6 doctors and 38 masters or above. Professor Cui Rongqiang from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Professor from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Professor from Nanchang University and Professor Ji from Inner Mongolia University were invited as visiting professors. Engineers and technicians from Jiangxi LDK Solar High-tech Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Shengyangguang Electric Technology Co., Ltd. were hired as part-time teachers, forming a team of teachers with high theoretical level, rich practical experience, strong scientific research ability, reasonable professional title, education and age structure.
