Brief introduction of Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University

Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine was established in 1958. After more than 50 years of hard work by Xinhua people, it has become a modern comprehensive teaching hospital with complete disciplines and distinctive professional characteristics, integrating medical teaching, scientific research and management. The hospital has successively obtained the advanced unit of the national health system and the A-level unit of Shanghai financial budget credit. It has been rated as a civilized unit in Shanghai for eight times, won the title of national advanced collective for four times, and won the title of national advanced unit for health culture construction of health system for two times. In recent years, it has been rated as the national advanced collective of counterpart support for urban and rural hospitals and the learning-oriented enterprises and institutions in Shanghai, both of which are the only hospitals in Shanghai's health system to receive this honor. Dean Xu Weiguo won the title of National Excellent Dean. In the past three years, the director of the municipal hospital has been rated as Grade A by Shanghai Shen Kang Hospital Development Center.
