Harbin Metro refers to the urban rail transit serving Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. Its first line was put into trial operation on September 26th, 20 13, making Harbin the first city in China to build an alpine subway system. By February, 2023, three lines of Harbin Metro will be put into operation, namely 1 line, line 2 and line 3, all of which adopt the subway system.

Harbin, also known as Ice City, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city and megacity. It is the core city of Harbin-Changzhou urban agglomeration and the northernmost capital city of China.
