The TV remake of Getting Married in the Wrong Sedan is called Wedding in Sedan.

On August 28th, 2023, Wedding in a Sedan was broadcast on Youku Video 18. The play was produced by Zhejiang Feng Run Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd., directed by Cheng Feng and starring Tian Xiwei, Ao Ruipeng, Bai Bingke, Zhao Shunran and Yu Zhan.

The play is based on Xi Juan's novels Getting Married by Wrong Bus and Please Make do with it. It tells the story of two young ladies in Yangzhou getting married on the same day. One is Du Bingyan, a wealthy businessman in Yangzhou, and the other is Li Yuhu (Tian Xiwei), the daughter of a martial artist in Yangzhou.

Bing married Qi (Ao Ruipeng), the third son of Qi Fu, a big businessman in Liuzhou, and Yuhu will marry Yuan Unyielding (Zhao Shunran), an important official of the dynasty. Because of the sudden heavy rain on the road, two wedding teams entered a temple to shelter from the rain at the same time. Unexpectedly, after the rain stopped, the sedan chair was lifted by mistake, so two bizarre and tortuous marriages began.
