On May 27th, the company held a mobilization meeting for the construction of the fourth bid section of Monnet Railway.

The newly-built Kenyan Monnet Railway extends from southeast to northwest, passing through coastal provinces, eastern provinces and Nairobi Special Zone. It is a standard gauge railway connecting the port city of Mombasa and the capital Nairobi, with a total length of 472.253 kilometers. Mombasa, the starting point of the railway, is located on Mombasa Island on the southeast coast of Kenya, near the west side of the Indian Ocean, and is one of the largest ports in East Africa. Nairobi is the political, economic and cultural center of Kenya and an important transportation hub in East Africa. The route passes through several important economic strongholds in Kenya and Chawo National Park, the largest wildlife park in the world.

The fourth bid section of Inner Mongolia Railway, which was built by the fifth branch, has a main line length of 123km, including subgrade and ancillary works, bridge and culvert structure, station civil works and house construction, relocated roads and highway bridges. The contract cost exceeds USD 300 million, and it is expected to be opened to traffic on June 1 20 17.
