How to evaluate the design of Oriental Pearl?

1 Oriental Pearl is located in Pudong, Shanghai. Commencement on July 30th 199 1, completion on June 30th 1994, 10. The tower is 468 meters high and faces the Bund World Architecture Expo Group across the river. After completion, it ranks first in Asia and third in the world.

The designer connected 1 1 spheres with different sizes and heights in series from the blue sky to the lush green grass. Two huge ruby-like spheres were held high, and the whole building was integrated, creating the artistic conception of "like a pouring of large and small pearls into a plate of jade".

The design of the Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower was selected through bidding from 12 excellent schemes, which fully embodies the distinctive features of Shanghai-style architecture and has a strong cultural atmosphere. It is a perfect combination of modern high technology and oriental traditional culture. The designer connected 1 1 spheres of different sizes and heights in series from blue sky to lush green grass. Two huge spheres are like two rubies. It is glittering and dazzling, and together with the two earth spheres of the newly-built world-class Shanghai International Conference Center (the main venue of Shanghai Annual Meeting of Fortune Forum 1999) under the tower, it forms a magnificent landscape painting, just like the poetry of pearls of all sizes pouring into a plate of jadeite.
