Xinao Company is the only SOI material production base in China and one of the few large SOI material suppliers in the world. It has three SOI wafer manufacturing technologies, SIMOX (oxygen injection isolation), Bonding (bonding) and Simbond (new SOI technology independently developed), and can provide 100mm(4 inches), 125mm(5 inches) and 150mm(6 inches) SOI wafers in small batches. In August, 2004, the first enterprise standard of SOI preparation process in China was issued. Xinao's rich products can cover all application fields of SOI, and its product quality and technical ability have been recognized by internationally renowned companies. At present, more than 90% of the products of Xinao are sold to the United States, Japan, Europe, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan Province Province of China and Singapore, and become suppliers of internationally renowned companies such as Intel, NXP, Toshiba, TI and IBM.

Xinao Company is also a leading supplier of epitaxial silicon wafers in China. As the first joint venture epitaxial production enterprise in China, Xinao Company can provide epitaxial silicon products and epitaxial processing services with all specifications and requirements of 4-6 inches, and has started to provide 8-inch epitaxial wafers in batches. Since 2003, in just three years, Xinao has built an extension enterprise with the best product quality, the highest technical level and the largest production scale in China. At present, the extended customers of Xinao Company have spread all over the United States, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, India and other countries and regions, including internationally renowned companies such as Mitsubishi, Sharp, VISHAY and China Resources Shang Hua.

As the only SOI industrialization base in China and the world's advanced high-end silicon-based material R&D platform, Xinao has successively undertaken a number of major government R&D projects and industrialization projects, such as the National 863 Program microelectronics supporting materials major project, the Electronic Development Fund of the Ministry of Information Industry major project, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Revitalization Project.
