1. Longxing Temple

Longxing Temple, also known as the Great Buddha Temple, is located on Dongmenli Street, Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It was originally the site of the Eastern Jin Dynasty During the Sixteen Kingdoms period, Longteng Garden was built by Murong Xi of the Later Yan Dynasty. In 586 AD (the sixth year of the founding of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty), a temple was rebuilt in the garden. It was called Longzang Temple at that time. It was changed to Longxing Temple in the Tang Dynasty and Longxing Temple in the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the earliest, largest and most well-preserved Buddhist temples in China.

The temple covers an area of ??82,500 square meters, with more than ten large and small temples, distributed on the north-south central axis and its two sides. The heights are staggered and the priorities are clear. It is an important example for studying the architectural layout of Buddhist temples in the Song Dynasty. ?

Longxing Temple has been approved as an AAAA-level tourist attraction in China, one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country, and one of the top ten famous temples in China

2. Kaiyuan Temple Bell Tower

Because Zhengding Bell Tower is located in Kaiyuan Temple, it is called Kaiyuan Temple Bell Tower. Kaiyuan Temple is located on the west side of the road south of Dashizi Street in the ancient city of Zhengding, Hebei Province. It was first built in the second year of Xinghe in the Eastern Wei Dynasty (AD 540). It was originally named Jingguan Temple. It was renamed Jiehui Temple in the eleventh year of Kaihuang in the Sui Dynasty (AD 591). During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, it was renamed Kaiyuan Temple. There are existing bell towers, brick towers and ruins of the Dharma Ship Hall in the temple.

The Dharma Boat Hall sitting in the north and facing south is the main hall of the temple. There is a Dharma Boat in the middle, and on the boat there is a statue of Cihang Pudu. On the west side of the main hall is the brick tower, and on the east side is the bell tower. This kind of floor plan with towers facing each other is the only example in China. In 1988, the bell tower was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in China. In 1990, restorative reconstruction was carried out.

3. Fuqing Temple (Shijiazhuang City)

Fuqing Temple is located 40 kilometers south of Jingxing County Cangyan Mountain Scenic Area, a national-level scenic spot, borders Luanjia Mountain to the east, Zhuhuiling Mountain to the west, Tiantai Mountain to the south, and Luantai Slope across the Sigou River to the north. It covers an area of ??2.46 million square meters and is 983 meters above sea level. The geographical coordinates are 113°48' east longitude and 38°13' north latitude. Fuqing Temple, formerly known as Xingshan Temple, is said to be the ancient dojo of Guanyin Bodhisattva. There are also colorful murals on the gables depicting the princess cultivating herself and saving people. There is also a deep cave, which is said to be the princess's bedroom. In 1988, Cangyan Mountain Scenic Area was announced as a national key scenic spot by the State Council.

4. Linji Temple (Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province)

Linji Temple, also known as Linji Pagoda Courtyard, was built in the second year of Xinghe (540) of Emperor Xiaojing of the Eastern Wei Dynasty. Linji Temple is located in Zhengding County, Hebei Province, on the side of Hutuo River, hence the name Linji. In the eighth year of Emperor Xuanzong's reign (854), Zen Master Yixuan, the founder of Linji Sect, stayed in this temple. Linji Temple is the birthplace of the Linji sect of Zen Buddhism in China and the ancestral temple of the Rinzai sect of Japanese Buddhism.

In 1983, the State Council designated it as a national key temple in the Han area. In 2001, Linji Temple Chengling Pagoda was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Main Hall is the first main hall of the temple, with a width of five rooms and a depth of four rooms. It is built with a single eaves on the top of the mountain.

5. Xuyun Zen Forest

Xuyun Zen Forest, formerly known as Chongsheng Temple, is located in Yudi Town, Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City. In 1992, the Berlin Zen Temple appointed a monk group to settle in and became Berlin The lower courtyard of the Zen temple is a dojo for women. For more than ten years, the head teacher, Master Chang Hong, has led the public in practice, spread the Dharma and benefit living beings, and the scale of Xuyun Zen Forest has continued to expand.

The Huiri Building was completed in 1998. The third floor is the Buddhist hall, which can accommodate more than 200 people practicing Buddhism. It was once used as the lecture hall of the Hebei Buddhist Association and was led by the old monk Jinghui and the master of the Berlin Zen Temple. He preaches scriptures to believers every Sunday. The second floor serves as the office area of ??the Hebei Buddhist Association (the Hebei Buddhist Association moved to its new address in June 2004), and the first floor is equipped with a living room and dormitories.
