What kinds of dyeing processes are there?

Artistic dyeing-mainly includes tie dyeing, batik dyeing, hanging dyeing, segment dyeing, splash dyeing and hand painting.

There are three methods for conventional yarn dyeing:

(1) hank dyeing-soaking loose hank yarn in a special dyeing vat is the most expensive dyeing method;

(2) bobbin dyeing: the yarn dyed by bobbin is wound on a perforated bobbin, and then many bobbins are put into a dyeing vat, and the dyeing liquid is circulated, so the fluffy effect and softness are not as good as those of skein dyeing.

(3) beam dyeing-large package dyeing. Before weaving, it is necessary to make a warp beam (warping) to dye the yarn of the whole warp beam, such as the combination of sizing machine and warp beam dyeing. Because it is a beam, it is mostly suitable for weaving and dyeing. But with the appearance of warp beam doffing, we can turn colored yarn into core-spun yarn, which has a wider application range. For example, the reduction dyeing method for indigo dyeing can only be solved by warp beam dyeing, and it is difficult to realize doffing without warp beam.

Dyeing, that is, dyeing, also known as coloring, refers to affecting the substance itself by chemical or other methods to make it colored. When technology permits, objects can be dyed to show various colors that people need, and life can be decorated with colorful colors. The method of dyeing has existed since ancient times and is developing continuously.
