Title: Southern Hospital established the first trans-provincial photodynamic medical alliance in China, and our hospital dermatology became the first batch of "Southern photodynamic alliance members".

10 6 13, the 4th Photodynamic Forum of Guangzhou Southern Hospital was held in Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University, and 73 dermatologists from Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces were combined to form the first inter-provincial photodynamic medicine alliance in China, which opened a new model of inter-provincial cooperation in dermatology. The dermatology department of our hospital was invited to attend the meeting and became a member of the Southern Photodynamic Alliance.

The conference held the awarding ceremony of Southern Photodynamic Alliance for the first batch of 73 units. In the future, the alliance will closely cooperate and share resources in the standardization of photodynamic diagnosis and treatment, telemedicine, technical guidance, personnel training and exchange, and scientific research collaboration, so as to promote the development and progress of dermatology in the three provinces, and on this basis, expand the cooperation scope of the alliance and radiate a wider area.

The dermatology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical College has accumulated some experience in condyloma acuminatum, lichen sclerosus atrophicus, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and other diseases in men and women since it started photodynamic therapy. Being one of the first members of the Photodynamic Alliance will help the dermatology department to gather the experts of Photodynamic in the dermatology department of Southern Hospital, and make by going up one flight of stairs in the standardized operation and treatment of Photodynamic, so as to bring better medical services to patients.

According to Luo Jingying, deputy chief physician of dermatology, photodynamic therapy is an effective and safe treatment method, which is mainly used to treat the following skin diseases, such as precancerous lesions and skin malignant tumors. Compared with other destructive treatment methods, photodynamic therapy can selectively act on the target tissue, with little damage to normal tissue, and can treat large-area skin lesions with less scars, and can significantly reduce the postoperative recurrence of condyloma acuminatum and skin tumors.
