The civilian cadres mentioned by the army generally refer to civilian officers, who are active soldiers and will not be recruited from local areas. The army recruits non-active civilian personnel from the local area.

Civilian personnel of the Chinese People's Liberation Army refer to non-active personnel who are employed to work in the army according to the prescribed establishment and perform the same duties as active military officers (civilian cadres).

Recruitment conditions

(1) Political conditions. Candidates should meet the political conditions for citizens to serve in active service, among which graduates from ordinary colleges and universities should meet the political conditions for the army to receive graduates from ordinary colleges and universities; Those who belong to social floating talents should meet the political conditions of conscription.

(2) education. Applicants should have a full-time undergraduate degree or above in ordinary colleges and universities, and those who apply for professional and technical positions such as teaching, scientific research, engineering and medical care should also have corresponding qualifications; Those who apply for professional and technical positions in nursing, art and sports are relaxed to junior college.

(3) qualifications. Applicants should have the professional and technical qualifications and professional qualifications required by the recruitment position. However, graduates of ordinary colleges and universities with master's degree or below apply for junior professional and technical posts, and graduates of ordinary colleges and universities with doctor's degree apply for junior and intermediate professional and technical posts, and they are not required to have corresponding professional and technical qualifications and professional qualifications when applying.

(4) physical condition. Candidates should meet the physical conditions for the military to receive physical examinations from graduates of ordinary colleges and universities.

(5) age conditions. Those who apply for junior professional and technical positions or ten or nine-level staff positions are not over 35 years old; Those who apply for intermediate professional and technical positions or positions of staff at Grade 8, Grade 7, Grade 6 and Grade 5 shall be no more than 40 years old; Those who apply for senior professional and technical positions or four, three, two and one-level staff positions shall not be over 45 years old.
