Yangjiang, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. Located in the western coast of Guangdong, close to the Pearl River Delta, it is the crossroads of western Guangdong. Yangjiang is an important node city of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a famous coastal tourist city, which is a strategic fulcrum radiating western Guangdong, a main place for industrial expansion and an extension area of advanced productive forces.

Yangjiang landform:

Yangjiang is surrounded by mountains in the east, west and north, and borders the South China Sea in the south. Tongmushan, Lantouling and Ziluo Mountain in the east extend from northeast to southwest. The landform is mainly low hills, and the platform has weathering crust and bedrock platform, which are distributed in the front of low hills. Followed by Yangmohe alluvial plain and coastal plain. Yangchun has limestone karst landform, which is distributed in Yangchun basin plain.

The plains below 100 meters above sea level are mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of Yang Mo, such as Beimian, Cheng Chun, Mashui, Gangmei, Shuang Jie, Baisha, Chengxi, Ganglie, Buchang and Heshan, Beichang and Yashao in Nalong River Basin, and most of them are farmland. The hills with an altitude of100 ~ 500m are mainly distributed along the National Highway 325, passing through Beiguan, Heshan, Baisha, Chengcun, Zhifu and Confucius Temple.

In Yangchun, hills and terraces appear alternately in the middle reaches of Yang Mo and the Danshui River basin. Most of the mountains above 500 meters above sea level are granite formed by the third stage magma intrusion of Yanshan Mountain, and some of them are limestone in Yangchun.
