Can you net fish in Liusha River in Jinghong City?

You can't fish with a net. Liusha River in Xishuangbanna is a major river located in the west of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. There are two tributaries in the upper reaches, and the left branch originates from Banggan Mountain and crosses Mengzheba, the largest dam in Xishuangbanna, from northwest to southeast. The right branch originated in Sanduo Mountain, Brown Mountain, Xishuangbanna, and entered the southeast of Mengzhebazi through Menghunbazi, where it merged with the left branch and flowed eastward. Fishing with nets is not allowed. It is illegal to use hand-throwing nets for recreational fishing in closed fishing areas and closed fishing periods. Units and individuals engaged in fishing in inland waters and offshore areas must follow the provisions on the type of operation, place, time limit and fishing gear in the fishing license.
