Brief introduction of railway vocational and technical college

Shijiazhuang Railway Vocational and Technical College, a full-time ordinary public college, was selected as a national model vocational college, a national high-quality school construction project unit of the action plan for innovation and development of higher vocational colleges (20 15-20 18), and the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education.

The school is known as the cradle of innovative high-skilled railway talents in China. The school was formerly known as the Department of Finance and Materials of Railway Corps Engineering College, and was built in 1950. In 2000, with the approval of the people's government of Hebei Province, it was transformed into a higher vocational and technical college, which once belonged to the Ministry of Railways and China Railway Construction Corporation. In June 2005, it was handed over to the people's government of Hebei Province for management.

May 20 10 became the first batch of national demonstration higher vocational colleges. 20 15 was selected as the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China. As of March 20 18, the college has three campuses, namely, Sishuichang Road, Xuefu Road and North Second Ring Road, covering an area of 566 mu and planning land of 855 mu. The building area is 225,000 square meters, and the total value of fixed assets is 220 million yuan.

The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 3610.9 million yuan. At present, there are 12 teaching departments (colleges and departments), 52 professional enrollment (directions), 3 full-time teachers/0/.7 people, and more than 9,000 full-time college students. 20 19- 12 was listed as the third type of high-level professional group construction unit by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
