The difference between 5f and 4f airports

There is no 5f airport, and the highest level of the airport is 4f. The grade of the flight area is divided according to the index of the flight area, and it is divided into four grades: 1, 2, 3 and 4 according to the reference flight field length of the largest aircraft used in the airport flight area. According to the wingspan of the largest aircraft used in the flight area or the distance between the outer wheels of the main landing gear, it is divided into six grades (represented by letters A to F).

The grade of the flight area is represented by numbers and letters, and the first part is numbers, indicating the length of the runway. The second part is letters, indicating the wingspan and track of aircraft that can take off and land. From a to f, it's getting bigger and bigger. Category 4F airport refers to an airport with an available runway length greater than 3,600 meters, an available aircraft maximum wingspan (65m, 80m) and an outer wheel spacing of main landing gear of 14- 16m under standard conditions.
