overseas summer courses
overseas summer courses usually last for four to seven weeks and are held during the annual summer vacation. This project has designed many themes and activities with different professional subjects and different language backgrounds according to institutions in different countries, mainly for all UIC students from freshmen to juniors.
Our overseas summer study includes seven American universities, one French university, two Canadian universities, one Italian university, one New Zealand university, one British university and two Korean universities. In 213, two new summer program cooperation institutions were added: Middlesex University in the UK and StanfordUniversity in the US. The subjects that students study in different universities include business communication, European and American culture, Minnesota history and culture, film and television production, English learning, Korean learning and so on. Part of the summer study can be transferred to credits, which helps students to experience different cultures and education and integrate into the English language environment, and at the same time, it also realizes the purpose of continuing their studies in foreign classrooms. in order to increase the opportunities for UIC students to study abroad, UIC has signed various study abroad plans with overseas cooperative institutions, providing students with study opportunities for one or two semesters.
