Responsibilities of Liaoning Communication Administration Bureau

Established on June 27th, 2000, Liaoning Communication Administration Bureau is the statutory body to supervise the telecommunications industry in the province, and undertakes the government supervision function of the telecommunications industry in the province. The main responsibilities are: overall planning and industry management of local public telecommunications networks, private telecommunications networks and radio and television transmission networks; Accept and issue local telecom business licenses, and be responsible for the management of telecom equipment entering the network; To supervise and manage the price and service quality of telecommunications services in this region in conjunction with the local price management department and the quality and technical supervision department; Ensure the interconnection and fair access of public telecommunication networks, and coordinate the economic and business relations among telecommunication enterprises; Responsible for the distribution and management of telecommunication network code numbers and other public telecommunication resources; Responsible for the management of Internet in the whole province; Responsible for organizing and coordinating network and information security, special communication between the party and government, emergency communication for combat readiness and national defense information mobilization; Responsible for the province's communication industry occupation skill appraisal, communication engineering quality supervision and management.
