Compared with other institutions, Nanjing Technician College is still better. Nanjing Technician College was established in 1952, which belongs to Nanjing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. It is a national key technical school with the characteristics of cultivating middle and senior skilled personnel.

Jiangsu Key Technician College is the first batch of national and provincial demonstration bases for training high-skilled personnel and the project construction unit of the national secondary vocational education reform and development demonstration school.

The college has a strong faculty, with 280 faculty members and full-time theoretical and practical instructors 184. More than 90% of teachers have senior professional titles and undergraduate education, and 40% are double-qualified teachers. The college has set up nearly 40 majors such as numerical control technology, mechatronics, applied electronic technology, mold design and manufacturing.

Jiangsu Nanjing Technician College, covering an area of 575 mu with a total investment of 360 million, was completed and put into use in September 2006. Based on the needs of Nanjing's economic development, the college aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with a certain professional theoretical level and strong practical skills, and takes "attaching importance to theoretical study and highlighting skill training" as its school-running characteristics.
