What is a pet bottle?

PET bottle means that the bottle is filled with a plastic material called polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is a polymer produced by the combination of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol. PET plastic has the characteristics of light weight, high transparency, impact resistance and not easy to be broken. It can also block carbon dioxide gas and keep soda water "alive".

PET bottles have strong applicability and are widely used in daily necessities, daily chemical packaging and other fields. From mold processing to mechanical equipment, it is very picky and easy to use, but it is difficult to do fine.

PET bottles are reprocessed by blow molding to form plastic bottles, including bottles used for packaging cosmetics, medicines, health care, beverages, mineral water, reagents, etc. This bottle-making method is called two-step method, that is, the bottle blank is molded by injection molding, and then the PET plastic bottle is molded by blow molding.

Extended data:

Due to the light weight, good preservation and the technical trend of emphasizing heat and pressure resistance, PET bottles have become the mainstream of beverage packaging today.

Many drinks that need high-temperature sterilization can be filled, such as seasoning water, fruit juice, dairy products, sports drinks and so on. And they are also packed in PET bottles, which have become the main packaging materials for beverage products.

Because of its low environmental pollution and low energy consumption, with the continuous improvement of environmental awareness, PET bottles are gradually replacing traditional packaging materials. It has the functions of heat resistance and pressure resistance, and almost replaces PVC bottles, bags, aluminum cans, tin cans and glass bottles, becoming the most promising packaging materials.
