Has anyone been to the electronics factory? Do you know what the sports technician is doing in it? How?

PE should be the abbreviation of production engineer, that is, "production engineer"

During my five years in Guangzhou, (2) the life of sports technicians in the factory.

On Tuesday, July 20th, 1999, I officially worked in the PE Department of Guangzhou Puyuan Technology.

On the first day of work, Xie Qing (supervisor), who is five years older than me, took me to a corner of the corridor from the PE department to the electronics workshop on the third floor of the factory and introduced me to my colleague (Chen Defa), saying that we would work together in the future. If we don't know anything, we should learn from Chen Defa or ask him directly. Chen Defa is in his thirties, a native of Jiangxi, and a sports technician. He has been working for several years. Then Xie Qing took me to the electronics workshop on the third floor, and several workshops on the second and fourth floors. There are hundreds of people in each workshop, all of whom are busy with production on the tight and orderly assembly line. I followed Xie Qing, who introduced me to the workshop supervisor and team leader, as well as some important production processes, and checked whether the product quality and employees' work met the standards. Many employees on the production line secretly watched us, and it was the first time for me to leave on such an occasion. I feel very unreal, but I am still very happy.

After transferring to the workshop, I went back to that corner. Xie Qing asked me to go to the office to get some company and department documents, and also collected some office supplies. He asked me to read it carefully, take notes, and come to see me after work another day. I thought, will this work? Just like being a student. Because the company is Hong Kong-funded, and the documents are all traditional, I don't know many words, so I asked Chen Defa. In fact, everything here is strange to me. I only ask everything. Although they thought it was a little funny, I asked. Even the word "workshop" at the beginning, I don't understand why it is called so. For example, I don't know what "electric batch" is. Later I learned that it was an electric screwdriver. Now that I think about it, it's really funny. Chen Defa is my first real colleague+friend after I entered the society. He is very kind to me, treating me as a younger brother and learning a lot from him. He is responsible for the maintenance of large and small equipment in the whole factory, and he is the busiest all day. Xie Qing is very kind to me, too. I think I really want to thank him during my time in society. Later, people in the workshop asked me if I was Xie Qing's brother, which showed that we had a good relationship.

Now let's talk about my work as a sports technician. Prior to this, only the commonly used tools and equipment were registered in seven or eight workshops of the whole factory, and some of them also had inspection instructions, because when I came in, the factory had passed ISO9002. My present job is to manage fixed assets. Of course, this is not as easy as imagined. It's not just a matter of registration. At that time, the equipment assets of the whole factory reached more than10 million. I divide the equipment into several different grades, classify each department and classify it according to the service cycle. Everything is for clarity, asset depreciation, regular inspection and maintenance, and the responsibility lies with people. In terms of archives, there is a list of all parts of the equipment and a general list. Every piece of equipment has to be numbered, and the number alone can be busy for two months. Inspection instructions, operation instructions, maintenance plans, maintenance records, inspection records, maintenance records, scrap applications, etc. There are a lot of stamping dies, metal dies and plastic dies that I need to classify and file. I am busy enough every day, but fortunately, everything is arranged by myself.

After several months of intense and enthusiastic work, I completed the task of cleaning up the company's fixed assets, which I never thought. I did everything by myself. In addition, I propose that each department choose a equipment manager to help me with my work, and the equipment in each workshop is signed by this equipment manager and the workshop supervisor. During this period, I met some difficulties. On the one hand, others regard me as a newcomer, so young and busy. I'm not angry at all. On the contrary, I am very happy with my work. My mind is to finish the day's work as soon as possible, and then I can rest or study other things in the corner upstairs, so I always politely explain the importance of this work to the heads of various departments. At the same time, I also introduced myself as a new PE technician (at that time, there were three technicians in the whole factory, one in the engineering department, Chen Defa and I, both of whom were relatively good positions, almost at the same level as the supervisors of various workshops), and asked them to cooperate and help me. The second difficulty is to write the operating instructions of the equipment. Many large equipment and factories have been used for many years, but they can't find the instructions and maintenance plans at that time, and they can't operate. Even the first time I saw these big and expensive devices. I stay with the masters who operate the machine every day, while chatting with them, while paying attention to their operation process and asking them about the performance of the machine in all aspects and daily maintenance methods. I also try to operate these devices as simply as possible, take a notebook and pen and write down all the information I can remember. Sometimes no one teaches me, and I am anxious. Unlike the current internet, when there is no internet access in the company and outside places, I have to use my lunch or evening break to go to the bookstore to read, or simply buy a book with related equipment to go back to study. In this way, I slowly completed the work instruction with the equipment. For the first time, I saw every standardized and tidy assignment, stamped with my own seal, passed the examination and hung on every equipment in the whole factory. That kind of sense of accomplishment was particularly good. The third difficulty is the variety of molds. To understand each set of molds, it is necessary to open the molds and complete the work with a very skilled mold master. In the mold file, I need to write down what kind of products each set of molds is used to produce, what materials are used, how much is produced at a time, and the drawings of this mold. In addition, I need to mark numbers on these molds with fonts. Especially for injection molds, you need to put a set of molds on the machine, so that you can understand the specific characteristics of these molds, and often need the cooperation of their whole department. The last difficulty is the verification of fixed assets, which is directly coordinated with the company's chief financial officer. Sometimes, because one or several pieces of equipment (all worth 10 to 0.2 million/200 thousand) can't be found, I wait until the boss, the person in charge of finance and the factory director go to various departments to find their supervisors (because the directors of injection molding workshop, hardware workshop, compression workshop and sewing group are very important people), because only in this way will they feel anxious and stressed, which is why they will start work on me in the future.

In my job as a sports technician, other tasks include doing production tests, writing test reports and doing tests, which is the last thing I want. The process was boring, but Xie Qing asked me to finish it carefully. My test results are often sent to the engineering manager or factory director as the basis for whether the production line is stopped, so I will still complete the test and write a detailed test report. One thing is worth learning. I almost started a fire. I went to the warehouse that day and got a tin bar. Xie Qing asked me to test the melting point of tin bars. I found an electric stove and a small basin. Because the melting point of tin must be above 100 degrees, I went to the workshop and asked for some engine oil. Then, I put the tin bars in the oil. When I turned on the power, I began to do the experiment. Chen Defa sat next to me and said. I don't think so. As he spoke, he prepared a fire extinguisher and turned on the safety. When I tried to put a screwdriver into the heated oil basin to see if the tin bars had begun to melt, I was also very careful, but somehow, the oil in the basin caught fire at once and I turned and ran away in fear. But Chen Defa was very calm, quickly picked up the fire extinguisher and put it out hard. When employees in the third workshop next door saw the smoke, they all came to see it. I think this is in trouble, but fortunately, the fire was put out by Chen Defa soon. I think I will be severely punished by the company. After a while, the security guard on the first floor came up and asked me why. He said that such an experiment must be taken to the factory gate under the supervision of security guards. He took me to the personnel and general affairs office and said that if it was serious, I would be punished and fired. I said I didn't realize enough, and some colleagues were ready. The next morning, Xie Qing found me and learned about it. Also helped me go to the General Affairs Office, and I was fined the bonus of the month and several hundred dollars. I wrote a review to admit my mistake and continued to complete the experiment at the factory gate that day. After that, I didn't affect my work because of this incident. I still devote myself to my work every day. It didn't take long for everyone in the factory to know me, and I also knew them. In this position, everyone envies me. It is said that such a little boy came in as a technician, and gradually everyone recognized my work, got everyone's respect, and my psychology was satisfied.
