Historical Legend of Yi Yan Temple in Huangjiaba, Meitan

Legend has it that a long time ago, there was no temple at the top of Yangerpo Mountain, and a hijab flew from Emei Mountain in Sichuan. When the local people saw it, they invited a respected old man to investigate. After reading it, the old man told everyone that a fairy took a fancy to this place and wanted to live here to protect the peace of one party. When people heard about it, they raised money to build a temple on the top of the mountain. On the morning when the temple was built and the official documents were hung up, many geese came here and flew around the temple. As soon as everyone discussed it, they named this temple Yi Yan Temple, and this mountain is also called Yiyan Mountain.
