Can Emirates only check in online 24 hours in advance?

You can check in online 48 hours to 90 minutes before the flight takes off.

Electronic boarding pass:

In order to save your time at the airport, Emirates now provides electronic boarding passes for some airports. If you choose to check in online, you will only receive the electronic boarding pass. *

The function of electronic boarding pass is no different from that of ordinary boarding pass, including seat arrangement, boarding gate number, flight details and so on. Business and first class passengers can use electronic boarding passes to enter the Emirates lounge.

After you check in online in the relevant departure city, you will receive an electronic boarding pass by email. You can choose to view/print the electronic boarding pass, or both. You just need to print the electronic boarding pass and take it to the boarding gate, or take it to the baggage check-in counter if you need to check your luggage.

At Dubai International Airport, you need to arrive at the boarding gate at least 35 minutes before the plane takes off. If you need to go to the baggage check-in counter, please arrive at the boarding gate at least 90 minutes before the plane takes off. Different airports have different time requirements. Please be sure to check the boarding time requirements clearly shown on the electronic boarding pass.

If you can't print your electronic boarding pass, you can only print it at the self-service check-in kiosk at Dubai International Airport or the Emirates check-in counter.

If your flight leaves the United States, you will be asked to check in at the counter of Emirates Airlines, even if you have no luggage.
