Brief introduction of Asiana Airlines

Asiana Airlines, founded in 1988, is currently the second largest airline in Korea and one of the few internationally renowned airlines rated as "five-star airlines".

1In April, 1990, AirAsia Korea, which was established only 16 months ago, set a record of 3 million passengers and opened international routes in Tokyo, Nagoya, Sendai and Fukuoka. Less than two years after its establishment, Han AirAsia signed a $6 billion purchase plan with Boeing on September 1990. Han AirAsia signed a total of 27 Boeing aircraft orders, including 9 Boeing 747-400, 10, 8 Boeing 737-400 and 20 others.

Honors won by the company:

Asiana Airlines has won the reputation of five-star airlines selected by SKYTRAX for four consecutive years (there are only seven in the world), won the Best on-board service and flight attendant award by Global Traveler for six consecutive years, and won the honorary title of "Best Airline of 20 10" selected by ATW, which is known as the Nobel Prize in aviation in 2009.

In 20 10, it ranked first in SKYTRAX's "best airline of the year" (global1810/10,000 customers participated in the selection), and it was the only airline that won the highest awards of ATW and SKYTRAX for two consecutive years, achieving a grand slam in the aviation industry.
