The factory has two 40-ton special furnaces and two four-machine, four-strand billet continuous casting, with an annual output of 6,543,800 tons of steel. All the equipment, production technology and technical approval have reached the domestic advanced level.

There are seven machines and seven streams in the new area. The ironmaking plant has three 400 cubic meters blast furnaces with an annual production capacity of 654.38+300,000 tons. The main production process is all controlled by microcomputer, producing various brands of pig iron.

Du Shaorong, the chairman of the company, bought out dangtu county Blooming Mill (Workshop 5 10) and Maanshan Steel Factory (Workshop 420) successively, and signed an asset transfer agreement with the town government on March 28th, 2000, thus giving birth to Maanshan Changjiang Steel Factory. On August 16, 2000, after technical transformation, the company's first steel rolling production line, No.2 Rolling, was officially put into operation. On April 1 day, 2002, the third rolling of the second steel rolling production line was officially put into operation.

◆ At the end of 2002, the company implemented the "technical transformation project of one million tons of steel", and the builders of Changgang successively put into operation 1# blast furnace in August 2003 and 2# blast furnace in February 9, 2003 at the rare speed of the Yangtze River; 1# converter was put into operation on May 30th, 2004, and 2 # converter was put into operation on October 20th, 2005, reaching 1 10,000 tons of steel successfully.

On July 25th, 2005, the Armed Forces Department, the first private enterprise in our city, was established.

◆ On April 3, 2006, Maanshan Changgang Sub-branch of Agricultural Bank of China was formally established, which marked that the brand of Changjiang Iron and Steel Company stepped onto a new level.

◆1In May 2006, the company established Anhui Changjiang Mining Co., Ltd., formerly known as the state-owned Huangmeishan Iron Mine in Maanshan with a history of one hundred years. After the enterprise reform, it has created raw material conditions for the development of Changjiang Iron and Steel.

◆ After the company was awarded the "Top 30 Taxpayers of Private Enterprises in China" in 2005, its tax payment exceeded 1 billion yuan in 2006, reaching 654.38+0.05 billion yuan, making it the first private enterprise in Maanshan City to pay more than 100 million yuan.

◆ In September 2008, due to the enterprise restructuring, the company name was changed from "Anhui Changjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd." to "Anhui Changjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.".

Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and China Iron and Steel Industry Association jointly awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective in Iron and Steel Industry" and china charity federation awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Charitable Outstanding Contribution Enterprise".
