Four LNG filling stations will be added to the south bank of Chongqing.

Recently, the Layout Plan of Liquefied Natural Gas in the Main Urban Area of Chongqing released by chongqing urban planning bureau Public Information Network shows that there are 37 LNG filling stations in the main urban area, of which 4 have been built. Among the planned 33 LNG filling stations, 4 will be added in Nan 'an District. LNG is a new type of clean energy, namely liquefied natural gas, which turns natural gas into liquid at low temperature and normal pressure. Mainly used as fuel for heavy trucks or long-distance buses. Compared with common CNG, liquefied LNG is smaller, and one kilogram of LNG is equivalent to 1.49 cubic meter of CNG, which is more environmentally friendly. As the first LNG filling station in Nan 'an District, PetroChina's 4 km LNG filling station at the 4 km interchange hub was put into use in June 201March. The filling scale of this station is 35,000m3/day, and there are two filling stations, which means that two buses can be filled at the same time. In addition to the 4-kilometer-long LNG filling station, there are also LNG filling stations in Xiyong University Town Station, Longtousi Bus Station and Chen Jiaping Bus Station in the main city. At present, most of the 37 LNG filling stations in Chongqing are located between the inner ring expressway and some expressways, and the four LNG filling stations planned in Nan 'an District are located in Tea Garden Transfer Hub, Changsheng Bridge, Donggang and Ying Long.
