Whirlpool ultimate interview review

Attended yesterday, face to face, line manager + HR, location: Whirlpool Office Building, Building 8, Jinling City, Jinqiao, Shanghai

Process: Through the morning round, it is directly decided whether to advance to the afternoon round.

I am traveling with GG (Hua Li) from the supply chain and JJ from MKT. (Shangcai),

They were in front of me, and we left one after another (end), but the girl who conducted the interview while the three of us were waiting did not leave after my interview (promotion);

In summary, if there are no accidents, all TXs who did not conduct the second round of interviews yesterday are in trouble.

Haha, let me tell you my own feelings. I am really disappointed with this company.

1 The interview lasts for an unusually long time, and there is no accurate schedule for the next round; on the one hand, this will cause waiting students to choose other offers and lose outstanding talents (of course, the company does not know this, because there are already Those who are satisfied with the OFFER will not attend the final interview); on the other hand, as a giant in the global home appliance industry, such a protracted and uncertain interview process will inevitably make people doubt its image. With its rigorous style, reputation, and image None of them match.

2 The interview process is not standardized.

After face to face, the interviewer’s on-the-spot review in just 2-3 minutes will determine whether you will stay in the finals. Among the top 500 companies I know, no company reviews a candidate in such a hurry. Some companies go through multiple rounds of interviews to learn more about the candidates, and some interview all the candidates together, score them together, and review them comprehensively. They do not interview everyone. After the interview, I was rejected directly with only 2-3 minutes of interviewer review. I can only say that I am really disappointed on behalf of everyone who cherishes the opportunity of Whirlpool like me.

After leaving Whirlpool, I even doubted whether its campus recruitment was just a brand promotion? We are just a tool used to promote the brand? Otherwise, why does it take so long and involve so many people?

Of course, we will review how many people got the OFFER after the dust settles.

The marketing events on Whirlpool’s official website are blank. Isn’t there a shortage of people in marketing?

But I think everyone understands that even if the recruitment trip is indeed an mkt campaign, this is A failed campaign.

Once again, I have deeply experienced that an interview is like a blind date. There is actually no reason why the person interviewing you likes you, and it does not mean that you are better/worse than others. It is fate.

Communicate with classmates who are still waiting for satisfactory offers.

I also wish those TXs who have not yet interviewed with Whirlpool a successful interview. Even if they are unsuccessful, they must understand that it is really not our fault.

Finally, thank you HR GRACE WANG for your patience;
