What software does the general graphic designer need?

1, Photoshop, PS for short, bitmap software, in pixels, that is, there will be mosaics when magnified.

It can draw and decorate, and is very powerful in image processing, such as completing portraits/products, composition, font effects, posters, illustrations, ink painting, taking photos, X-stand, Yi Labao and so on.

2, vector software, that is, the graphics drawn in it can be infinitely enlarged without distortion, representing the software Illustrator AI or CorelDRAW (CDR).

These two softwares are used in some places, and some only need one of them. In fact, the functions of the two softwares are basically the same. It is not clearly defined whether they are in the south or the north. You can go to the recruitment platform to search and see if you all require AI or CDR. You can make a reference. These two softwares have always been controversial. Personally, I think it is unnecessary. They are just tools.

You can typeset some single pages, picture books, packaging, posters, logo signs and so on. You can also do illustrations. The illustrations they make can be infinitely magnified without distortion, and printing is also very convenient, without exaggeration and powerlessness. They can basically do what ps can do, no matter their advantage over PS is vector software.

3. The typesetting software InDesign, abbreviated as ID, AI and PS are all products of Adobe, so it will be more convenient to use them together.

The typesetting function is powerful, the typesetting of books is very convenient, paragraphs can be stylized, and there is automatic text penetration, which means that the contents in excel tables can be automatically penetrated and formatted, which is also very powerful.

Personally, I think these three softwares are basically enough for graphic design, and I can't say which one is focused. It will be better to use them together for reference only.
