Polypropylene is the main raw material for the production of masks, and it is also one of the raw materials for the production of automobile sound insulation cotton.

SAIC-GM-Wuling told Yiou Automobile that in some of its products, polypropylene (a high-specification material that can be used for medical supplies) is used to produce sound-insulating cotton. Therefore, in terms of raw material preparation and production technology, the production of masks has great advantages, and production can start soon after the professional transformation of the production line.

In terms of financial support, China Development Bank provides 50 million loans; In addition, in order to successfully produce masks, Guangxi Defute has newly established a medical device company, obtained the approval of relevant government projects, supported the opening of a "green channel" within the controllable range, and handled complete qualification verification, approval and certification (including but not limited to production license, business license, hygiene license, product certificate, medical device business license, etc.). ) and shorten the normal process from 43 days to less than 20 days. It is estimated that it will take three days.

In terms of personnel and production technology, SAIC-GM-Wuling provides personnel and technical support in production management, project management, equipment support, quality control and packaging to ensure rapid mass production and climbing. There are 92 production employees in the existing workshop. In order to meet the demand for production capacity, in addition to the auxiliary staff of SAIC-GM-Wuling, supplementary staff will be recruited through the society, and a total of 85 people are planned to be added, all of which will be in place before February 7. SAIC-GM-Wuling said that masks are the current strategic material reserve, and the masks produced by this project will be uniformly deployed by the Guangxi district government to support medical institutions to carry out epidemic prevention work and ensure public health and safety.

It is reported that it took less than five days for SAIC-GM-Wuling to jointly produce masks from the idea to the specific implementation stage.
