Zhanjiang Health School in Guangdong Province is a full-time secondary health vocational school approved by Guangdong Provincial People's Government and organized by Zhanjiang Municipal People's Government. Zhanjiang Health School in Guangdong Province, formerly known as Zhanjiang Public Senior Midwifery Vocational School, was established on 2 1949 and is under the management of the health department of the National Government. June 195 1 was renamed Zhanjiang Advanced Midwifery Technical School, and July 1952 was renamed Guangdong No.4 Midwifery School. 1953 In March, Guangdong No.4 Midwifery School merged with Guangdong No.1 Medical College and was named Zhanjiang Health School in Guangdong Province, directly under the leadership of the Provincial Health Department.

Affected by the Cultural Revolution, 197 1 school was closed, and 1973 was renamed Zhanjiang District Health School after classes resumed, under the dual leadership of the provincial health department and the district health bureau. 1981may, the provincial government approved the restoration of the school name-Zhanjiang Health School in Guangdong Province, which is under the leadership of the Provincial Health Department, the Provincial Higher Education Department, the Municipal Health Bureau and the Education Bureau; 1986 was designated as a municipal bureau-level unit, and the school party Committee was established in August 1992. In 2008, it was changed from the Municipal Health Bureau to the Municipal Education Bureau for centralized management.

At present, the school covers an area of 230 mu, with a building area of1.2000 square meters. It is divided into Chikan Campus and Mazhang Campus, which are located at No.37 Cunjin Road, Chikan District, Zhanjiang City and Political Access Road, Mazhang District, Zhanjiang City respectively.
