What does empc project mean?

Empc project is a general contracting mode in the field of prefabricated buildings, aiming at opening up the whole industrial chain of building industrialization, realizing the whole process service from research and development to design, production, supply chain and assembly based on information technology, and providing overall solutions for various buildings. This concept was initiated and put into practice by China people.

EMPC is a traditional EPC model based on the construction industry, which was first proposed by China Minsheng You Zhu in the world, including engineering (design), procurement (procurement) and construction. On this basis, EMPC added M (manufacturing), which is the embodiment of the ability of assembled construction enterprises to develop the whole industrial chain of construction industrialization.

EPCM means "design, procurement and construction management". In EPCM contract, the contractor's job is to provide engineering design or design management services, and manage equipment procurement and construction. In this mode, the construction unit directly signs the construction contract with the owner, and the EPCM contractor manages the construction on behalf of the owner. EPCM is essentially a professional service contract. Therefore, the owner is mainly responsible for the whole project, and the responsibility for cost control lies with the owner.
