How many Kaiyuan temples are there in China?

There are currently 5 Kaiyuan Temple/KLOC-0 in China. Most of these Kaiyuan temples were built during the Kaiyuan period in Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, hence the name. Among them, Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, Kaiyuan Temple in Chaozhou, Kaiyuan Temple in Xingtai, Kaiyuan Temple in Xiamen, Kaiyuan Temple in Putuo Mountain, Kaiyuan Temple in Nanchang, Kaiyuan Temple in Datong and Kaiyuan Temple in Fuzhou are famous. There are also some destroyed Kaiyuan Temple, such as Kaiyuan Temple, which used to be in Taiyuan. So if you count the destroyed temples, there will be more Kaiyuan temples in the history of China. The most famous are Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, Fujian and Kaiyuan Temple in Chaozhou, Guangdong. These two Kaiyuan temples have a long history and profound cultural heritage, attracting countless tourists to visit and worship.
