How did you get into Maersk Group Chengdu Branch? What's worth sharing?
First of all, I applied for the supply chain specialist of Chengdu Maersk. It is said that Chengdu is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maersk, not outsourced. In fact, as a layman, I don't know much about the logistics industry and the supply chain specialist. Seeing secretarial work, nine to six, weekends off, and it seems a little technical, I threw it away hastily.
Ok, let's go straight to the interview process. Because I read it on the official WeChat account (many WeChat jobs are searched by you, but I don't think it's reliable), and then I came to the familiar Ren Rui company (a human resources outsourcing company in Chengdu). This is similar to ByteDance, which requires the initial byte.
Then send your resume to Maersk for review, and then go to Maersk for an interview. Have a crush on personnel at first sight, boy. It feels gentle and professional. A group of 10 people. It is suggested to organize self-introduction in advance, and never dig a hole for yourself when answering.
For example, a girl said that she interviewed for this position because her friend started a business in this industry and wanted to know about it. Then HR immediately grabbed the topic and said, are you going to study, and then quit your job and start a business with your friends? Wow, don't make such a dangerous speech.
Also, this position requires a certain level of English, English level 3, which is actually low. The personnel asked if there was any problem in the daily conversation, and most people said no problem. Then there was a boy's paper, and he said directly, I don't know, there may be a problem. Then HR gives you a chance to say, if you are allowed to study, how long will it take you to get used to it? The baby said, I don't know, it depends.
An hour or two after the initial interview, HR will contact you and ask you to send an electronic resume to Maersk for review. (if you haven't contacted, it means it's cold. )
After the resume is approved, arrange to go directly to Maersk for an interview. There are really many people. Before, HR contacted me and said that I had to prepare 2-3 minutes of English self-introduction, and online search said that I would also use English during the interview, which made me panic, because although I passed CET-4, my oral English was poor.
So I have been practicing English self-introduction nervously one day in advance, translating all the questions and answers that may be asked in the interview in English, and found that it is not so strict.
After I went in, I was interviewed by a department head (I think so) and said to introduce myself. I asked if it was English or Chinese, and the other party said yes. Wow, I chose Chinese decisively, and the burden in my heart disappeared instantly.
To tell the truth, the supervisor of this interview is still very professional, and the questions asked are very sharp. In addition to asking the reasons for leaving your last job, the reasons for choosing this job, career planning, and talking about overtime, what to do if commuting time is too long, etc., the key is to continue to dig deep into your answers.
What impressed me most was that my resume said that I had a strong learning ability and would not give up easily. As a result, the other party said, please give two or three examples to prove your strong learning ability. When I heard this question, my heart was shouting, but my face was calm.
I remember this conversation going on for a long time, thinking it was over, but I didn't expect the personnel to say there was a test. I'll take you directly to the workstation to see other people's works, and then give you a form to write down your opinion on this person's works and how to optimize them if you do it yourself. To be honest, exactly! Don't understand!
Because it is an English page, and I can't read the words on the computer clearly, I can only write some vague things. However, I suggest that you can communicate more with the employee you meet.
After finishing this test, I immediately sent an English question, English-Chinese translation, Chinese-English translation. Anyway, as a novice in Level 4, it's not too simple. (It is recommended to know the technical terms of freight positions in advance)
After I finished all the questions, I chatted with my former HR for a while, and then the interview was finally over. At the moment I stepped out of the door, I felt cold. Who knows, a few days later, I got a phone call saying that I had passed the interview. Well, maybe I really think this job is too difficult.
We need to spit out the company's process here, it's too slow! At the end of the interview, I said it would take 5-7 days to determine whether I passed or not. I gave up hope, and the result should be notified on the third or fourth day. It will take more than half a month to notify. I will be there. Interviewed in late April, said to be hired in mid-May. I really have to wait.
Therefore, children's shoes that have not been notified are not in a hurry, and this company is like this.
