What district is the center of Wuhu?

Jinghu district. The central area of Wuhu City is Jinghu District. Jinghu District has a long history and rich humanities. "Three Knives" and "Iron Painting" have achieved the reputation of "the hometown of folk culture and art in China". The old city, the old concession and the old shipyard are all famous. Wu's masterpiece The Scholars and Tang Xianzu's Peony Pavilion were both created here. Jinghu District governed six streets in 2000. In 2003, Jinghu District was located in the city center. On September 13, 2005, Wuxin District and Jinghu District of Wuhu City were abolished and a new Jinghu District of Wuhu City was established. The original administrative areas of Wuxin District and Jinghu District, Jingshan Street in Jiujiang District, Guangfu and Li Antang communities in Wanli Town were placed under the jurisdiction of Jinghu District. After three administrative divisions were adjusted in 2006, 20 10 and 20 19, nine sub-district offices were established, namely Tianmen Mountain, First Class Mountain, Tang Ting, Zheshan, Zhelu, Fanluoshan, Zhangjiashan, Dayingfang and Jingshan, and Fangcun Street remained unchanged. After the reform, there are 10 sub-district offices, 55 community neighborhood committees and 12 village committees in the whole region.
