What level is Dawang High-tech Zone?

Zhaoqing Dawang High-tech Zone was established in 1998. It was moved to Dawang in the first half of 2002 and officially started operation. The high-tech zone has a total area of 98 square kilometers, and the planned construction area of the first phase is 22.52 square kilometers. All the land belongs to the state. In July 2004, the Guangdong provincial government listed it as a key industrial park in Guangdong Province and a demonstration zone for attracting foreign investment in mountainous areas. In August 2008, it won the first batch of demonstration industry transfer park projects in Guangdong Province. On September 20 10, it was successfully upgraded to a national high-tech industrial development zone.
