The Economic Development of Xiazhuang Town

According to the principle of "integration of towns and districts, integration of production and cities", Xiazhuang Town has planned and built a high-tech industrial development zone and a northeast township cultural tourism development zone, forming a development pattern of "one town and two districts".

The High-tech Zone governs 35 villages with an area of 38 square kilometers, focusing on developing high-tech industries. At present, 56 enterprises have settled in the high-tech zone with a total investment of over 30 billion yuan. Gaomi High-tech Zone has become a high-density partition of Weifang High-tech Zone, a demonstration park for the integration of industrialization and informatization in Weifang City, and a pilot park for the construction of smart parks in Shandong Province. The Northeast Township Cultural Development Zone governs 56 villages, making use of the advantages of Qingdao airport and seaport to develop modern logistics and cultural tourism. The "two regions" have become the dynamic plates and new growth poles of the industrial economy, realizing "the integration of towns and regions, the integration of production and cities, and common development".

Around the construction of "one town and two districts", we always insist on strengthening the town through industry. There are 350 industrial enterprises in the town, including 35 enterprises above designated size/kloc-0. Seven industrial clusters led by Vosges Home Textiles, Tao Heng Science and Technology, Jia Kai Food and Condien Bio-enzyme have been cultivated, as well as two listed companies, Vosges Group and Kangda Jia Kai Food. Four logistics parks, namely Shandong Port International Logistics, Shugang Logistics, Jinyunda Logistics and Gaonong Warehouse Logistics, and three automobile sales companies, namely Longyun, Everbright and Tiancheng, have been built, and the economic structure and quality have been further optimized and improved.

Under the strong leadership of the higher Party committee and government, Xiazhuang Town has made every effort to build a first-class strong town in Shandong Province, focusing on new urbanization, agricultural modernization and new industrialization, and embarked on a new journey of scientific development, transformation development and leapfrog development. In 20 12, the total fiscal revenue of the town was 380 million yuan, and the local fiscal revenue was10.88 billion yuan, ranking among the top 500 cities and towns in China.
