What is the knowledge of wooden door measurement?

Wooden door measurement is an important part in the decoration process, so some problems should be paid attention to when measuring wooden doors. Before installing the wooden door, the surveyor should measure the door opening so as to make a suitable wooden door, but some side factors should be considered when measuring the door opening, otherwise there will be a lot of trouble when installing the door.

Wood door measuring method

Facade width = door leaf width+door cover line width

Door opening width = door leaf width+door leaf reserved gap+door frame main plate thickness+door frame fixing plate thickness+door frame adjustment allowance.

1, measurement of door opening

Width of doorway: measure the left and right distance of doorway horizontally, and select more than five measuring points for measurement, in which the minimum value (minus the adjustment allowance of doorframe) is the extension width of doorframe.

Height of door opening: vertically measure the distance between the door opening and the bottom, and select more than three measuring points for measurement, of which the minimum value (see adjustment allowance of door frame) is the protruding height of door frame.

Note: Pay attention to the ground treatment when measuring, and the thickness of the ground decoration material should be reserved for later use.

Wall thickness of door opening: measure the wall thickness horizontally, and choose more than five measuring points to measure wholeheartedly, of which the maximum value is the wall thickness. If the wall needs to be decorated, the thickness of the wall at the door needs to be added with the thickness of the decoration material.

2, door leaf measurement

Door leaf = empty inside door frame-reserved gap

Door leaf width: measure the gap in the door frame horizontally, and select more than five measuring points for measurement, of which the minimum value (minus the reserved gap) is the door leaf width.

Door leaf height: measure the empty distance in the door frame vertically, and select more than three measuring points for measurement, of which the minimum value (minus the reserved gap) is the door leaf height.

Note: Attention should be paid to ground treatment during measurement, and appropriate dimensions should be reserved for use.

The difference between the height of the door leaf and the height of the door opening is 5- 10mm, and the standard thickness of the door leaf is 38mm and 45mm, which should be matched with the door frame.
