It is stipulated in the agreement that those who have taken the unified national examination for certified public accountants in the Mainland and passed the general examination should apply for the professional qualification course of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Two unit subjects, Financial Management and Audit and Information Management, can be exempted; Those who have taken the professional qualification course examination of the Hong Kong Institute of Accountants and passed the general examination can be exempted from the two examination subjects of "financial cost management" and "audit" when they register for the unified national examination for certified public accountants in the Mainland.
