It doesn’t mean that Nokia mobile phones have separated from Microsoft and can produce their own mobile phones. Why are they not sold now?

The mobile phone part of Nokia's industry is only a part of it. What was previously sold to Microsoft was this department and some technology patent licenses. Now Nokia mainly focuses on the communications industry. In the international market, it is almost the same as Huawei after merging with peer Alcatel last year. The industry is almost divided into three parts with Ericsson and Huawei; Microsoft previously only had the authorization and partial patent rights to use the Nokia brand on feature phones, and the right to use the Nokia brand for smartphones has been authorized to the Nokia brand and licensed to Finnish new companies. Start-up company HMD global, which will launch Nokia-branded Android smartphones and tablets and other products. The latest news is that Nokia is recruiting relevant employees to supervise and manage the design and production of HMD mobile phones, which may imply that Nokia Android phones are coming soon. In other words, no new phone has been released yet, and I am not optimistic about the current mobile phone market. As a technology company, I actually hope that Nokian can produce a disruptive wearable device. In the future, it is not certain for this brand to come back to the wearable and virtual reality mobile phone industry. It’s a good thing.
