North Railway Station - Qingdao Airport Long-distance Bus

Qingdao Jiaozhou - Qingdao Airport Transportation

Qingdao has two railway stations and one passenger airport. Three relatively large bus stations.

1. Railway Station

Qingdao Station

The terminus of each train line is on the southernmost seaside of Qingdao City. There are dense scenic spots and it is only a two-step walk away. The landmark attraction of old Qingdao is the trestle. Part of the train station (the one with the steeple) is an old German-style building with a long history. It is very convenient to connect to the subway and various buses. It is most convenient for friends who take the train to get off here.

Disadvantages: crowded and messy, so be careful with your luggage.

I really recommend you not to take a taxi here. If you have to take a taxi, I suggest you go to the west exit of the train station to Guangzhou Road to hail a taxi or call Didi. The taxis at the main entrance are the same at all train stations. You know~ It’s not possible to call the express train at the main entrance because there’s no place to park and it’s super messy. For specific precautions when taking a taxi, please refer to the “Taking a Taxi” section below.

North Railway Station

The northern edge of the city is far away from places to visit, but because it is a new station opened in recent years, many lines (especially high-speed trains) only start from here As the train departs, we don’t want to go to Qingdao Station.

But if you can only choose to get on and off here, don’t worry, there is a subway. There are more formal taxis here that queue up to get a number, so it is okay to take a taxi here, but it is quite expensive if it is quite far away. After looking at the starting price, see the "Taxi" section for details.

2. Liuting Airport

The airport is further away from the city. It is north of the North Railway Station and is not part of the four districts of the city. Currently, there is no subway, so it can only be used as an airport. Take the bus or take a taxi to the city. The airport bus ticket costs about 20 yuan (the price varies slightly depending on the distance). There are four or five lines and stations along the line that can basically meet your needs to various places in the city. Rich people or those with three or more people are advised to take the escalator downstairs and queue up to take a taxi. A normal taxi ride to the city is around 70 RMB (3 people taking a bus is 60, of course it is a good deal to take a taxi). You are also optimistic about the starting price. See "Taxi" for details. Rich people can do whatever they want.

3. Bus stations

They are North Bus Station, East Bus Station, and Sifang Long-distance Station. I won’t go into details about the bus stations here, because they are all in the urban area and have convenient transportation. There is a bus stop at the door, so there is nothing to pay attention to. Just check your belongings after leaving the station and try not to take a taxi at the station exit.

If you want to visit the surrounding Rizhao, Yantai, Weihai or other places after visiting Qingdao, taking long-distance buses to these three stops is a good choice.

Urban transportation

Backpacking tours are most recommended for young people. Qingdao is not big and the transportation is convenient. Subway lines are also opening one after another. Friends who have taken the subway in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will definitely fall in love with Qingdao’s subway. There are very few people. Well! Lazy guys who don’t like taking buses and subways can also take a taxi. Friends from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will also fall in love with taking a taxi in my big Qingdao. It’s very cheap (mainly because Qingdao is not big, and it only costs 20 to travel to various scenic spots in the city. 30, except Laoshan).

1. Taxi

There are several types of taxis in Qingdao. The ordinary ones start at 10 yuan, and the high-priced ones start at 12 yuan and are more expensive per kilometer. Taking a few kilometers can make a lot of difference. Money, is the higher-priced one more advanced? Personally, the only difference is that the starting price of the rear window sticker is different.

Generally, the new Jetta and Santana start at 10 yuan, and the Hongqi and Hyundai start at 12 yuan. For specific details, you should keep your eyes peeled for the starting price of the rear window sticker. Don’t be afraid if it hits 12 yuan, just ask. Check to see if it's twelve. If the driver says yes, just wave your hands and stop and stop again. The brother and sister in Qingdao are still very kind.

There are mostly high-priced taxis at the airport and train stations. If you take a taxi from the airport to the city, you will have to pay a lot more. If you happen to be waiting in line for a high-price ticket, tell the person next to you that I'll take the ten-dollar ticket, and he'll ask you to stand aside and wait. When the ticket for ten-dollar ticket comes, he'll signal you to get on the bus.

The taxis in downtown Qingdao are all blue-green. Occasionally, the taxis in Chengyang District are golden and you can sit in them. However, there is a black courtesy car that is more expensive than the one starting at 12. Specifically I don't know how much it is, it's too high-end and I haven't ridden in it.

2. Subway

At present, there is only one subway line in Qingdao, which runs from north to south, reaching Qingdao North (train station) in the north and Qingdao Station (train station) in the south. Passing by Yiba , May Fourth Square, Zhongshan Park, Zhanqiao and many other attractions. Ticket prices start at 2 yuan (or 3 yuan).

Let’s take a look at the subway lines. Taking the subway in Qingdao will never be as confusing as in Beijing and Shanghai. There are loop lines and not loop lines. There are different ways to run on the same line. And this is what I am doing in Qingdao. One line may be opened and another one may be opened by the end of the year. This line starts from Taipingjiao Park and runs close to the seaside scenic area, which is very convenient.

3. Bus

Normally 1 yuan. Air conditioning is 2 yuan. When going to Huangdao, you can take the tunnel bus, which is the same as the bus, but with "Tunnel 1", "Tunnel 2" and "Tunnel 3" illuminated on the head.

Tips:

Although Huangdao is not an island, its location relationship with Qingdao city is like the two endpoints of a 'c' letter. In the past, when going to Huangdao, either To take a ferry, you have to go around Jiaozhou Bay for two hours. Now it's better. The undersea tunnel has been built. You can take the tunnel bus and you'll be there in a hurry. Just a short walk away from the tunnel entrance is the Golden Beach. The sand is very fine and feels great on your feet.
