Used in electrical, aviation, machinery, chemical industry, medicine, national defense, construction and other parts. As the focus of integrated circuits, more than 95% of electronic components are made of semiconductor silicon, and semiconductors are the pillar of the world information industry. The optical fiber in the optical cable widely used in "Information expressway" is made of metallic silicon. At present, the consumption of chemical silicon in the United States and the European Union has accounted for more than half of the total consumption of metallic silicon. As a high-tech category and an important basic industry, chemical silicon has been widely used, and its consumption tends to grow steadily.
