Who is Lu Yuqing?

Lu Yuqing (1895 ~ 1980), a native of Xinfan Village, Nong Xin Township; Jin (19 14 ~ 1983) is a native of Xiangbang Village. Both of them studied masons first, then sculpture and painting. They cooperated for a long time and built the first house in the garden. They were good at carving characters in history and fairy tales, and also worked hard on landscapes, flowers and birds. He is also good at gouache painting, such as The Kitchen God Blesss the People, The Birthday Star Xiantao, Carp yue longmen, cornucopia, Evergreen and so on. Their works spread in Zhujing, Zhangyan, Pinghu and Songjiang. The famous ones are the photo wall of Yangjie Temple in Zhujing, the singing platform of Miangang Mianlai Temple and the main hall of Songjiang Yue Temple. 1972, Shanghai Yuyuan Garden was renovated. Four teams from the Municipal Museum, Yuyuan Garden and Heather District recruited technicians, and they applied together. When Lu Yuqing was 80 years old, Jin was over 60 years old. The leader of the engineering team invited Lu Yuqing to participate in design, modeling and artistic guidance. Their works include: Guan Sheng, Suochao of Deep-water Bomb, and Pavilion Figures of Water Margin; Lu Su and Guan Yu in Romance of the Three Kingdoms; The mythical Cowherd and Weaver Girl, Dong Fangshuo steals peaches, and Liu Hai hits the golden toad; There are more than 50 paintings, such as the phoenix on the Fengge, the crane on the Crane Pavilion, the fairy behind the office building, and landscape flowers and birds. 1973, in order to welcome French President Pompidou to visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Yuyuan Garden Guest House rushed to produce a group of sculptures. Among them, two fairies participated in the production for Lu Yuqing, and their expressions were vivid and lifelike. Lu Yuqing and Jin once taught many disciples, but for various reasons, few people got their true stories.
