Pyeongchang is the abbreviation of two places:

1. Pingchang County belongs to Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, China. Located in the northeast of Sichuan, at the southern foot of Micang Mountain, it is adjacent to Wanyuan City and Xuanhan County in the east, Dazhou City and Quxian County in the south, yingshan county and Yilong County in the west, Tongjiang County and Bazhou District in the north. Pingchang county belongs to the peripheral mountainous area of Sichuan basin, with Daba Mountain, and the whole mountain range runs from northwest to southeast. It belongs to the humid monsoon climate zone in the middle subtropical zone, with four distinct seasons, mild climate, abundant rainfall and frequent clouds.

2. Pyeongchang County is located in Taibai Mountain District, gangwon, South Korea,180km east of Seoul. It is the third largest county in Korea, a famous holiday mountain city in Korea, and the host city of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics on 20 18.
