What is the job of the hull dismantler?

Engaged in the work mainly includes:

(1) Operate locksmith tools and gas cutting tools to open the boarding port for lighting and ventilation;

(2) For semi-washed and unwashed oil tankers, use tank washer, ventilator, shovel and other equipment and tools to clean up the oil pollution in the tank, and treat and discharge the oil sewage;

(3) Use gas detector and explosion-proof instrument to detect the concentration of flammable and harmful gas;

(4) Transporting flammable and explosive dangerous goods such as residual oil, residual oil, paint, solvent, high-pressure container and pyrotechnic signals from abandoned ships to the shore for safe treatment and classified storage;

(5) Dismantle harmful devices such as carbon monoxide and inert gas;

(6) Use tools to disassemble, classify, package and put into storage the available communication and navigation equipment, instruments, deck machinery and other equipment and spare parts;

(7) Dismantle unusable instruments and equipment, ship's main engine, etc. , and dispose of scrap steel;

(8) Disassemble the hull, cut it into planks, profiles and scrap steel, weigh it, and pile it up in categories.
