What does an airport cabin cleaner do?

The job of airport cabin cleaner is not easy. It usually takes about three hours, sometimes even four to five hours, to carry out deep cleaning in the aircraft cabin, such as cleaning an A320 aircraft. Deep cleaning includes all parts of the engine room, such as walls, luggage racks, ceilings, dead corners and slots, which need to be thoroughly cleaned. In addition, large-scale cleaning is needed, such as scrubbing the air outlet of the air conditioner, portholes, replacing carpets and seat covers. It is a challenge to replace the carpet, because the carpet in the cabin is usually fixed with strong double-sided tape and needs to be pulled down. It is also very difficult to replace seat covers, because they need to fit the seat accurately, and it is not easy to disassemble and assemble them. When the plane passes the station, the time for the cleaner is even more tense, and there is only eight minutes to complete the cleaning work, including checking whether there is garbage behind the seat, whether the headscarf is neatly placed and whether the seat belt is buckled. This requires that all the cleaning work be completed in a limited time, so as to ensure that the flight is on time and passengers can hardly see the cleaners.
